So this photo has nothing whatsoever to do with our readings or heterotopias. But I thought it would be interesting to post in referencing the first class and how we had to 'MAP OUR WEEK' on a tee shirt, b/c here as you can see, I have a map of my internal anatomy on a tee shirt that I've actually had since I was 6 weeks old, and its a shirt that I wore as a baby, so it has a history and a definite story, not only because of where I wore it and the fact that it ties me to my childhood, but more importantly because all of the important people in my life at that time, when I had my life-saving liver surgery, signed and wrote messages on the shirt, which tells another story as well. Plus the fact that the doctors who performed my surgery outlined the procedure on the tee shirt is something not too visible here, but is there nonetheless and makes me feel extra special to have that piece of my history tangibly with me forever.Just for interest:0)
