These views of the street, where we only see feet and cars are really intriguing. I think I am struck by these videos because they show the flow of life in the city and the transience of our public spaces: the sidewalk and the road, places we constantly move around in, yet do not often stop except to let others go.

Also, when you zoomed in on the crack in the sidewalk, I was immediately reminded of your emotional map and the picture you had included of the mother and daughter walking along different sides of the earthquake fissure in the earth. Of course, the sidewalk crack is a tiny version/representation of division, yet one that we generally just step on/over in our daily lives. The city is full of divisions, though, both seen and unseen. The curb, for instance, is a clear division for the movement of cars and people...
